Akane was softly sobbing into his pillow, staring at the dry texts from Aoi. It'd just click to him that she would never love him back the way he did. He was mad at himself for not realizing sooner. The way she'd seem more happier around Yashiro, exchanging foods from their bentos.. It just frustrated him that he couldn't see it any sooner. He thought Aoi was the one for him, HIS soulmate, only to learn it was one-sided. He was about to look through the texts again when he saw a new notification.

Teru "My dear Akane I've been injured during an exorcism and I need a medic here~ where's my brave medic akane🥺🥺?"

That just pissed off Akane even more, he reluctantly got up though, getting ready to head over to the Minamoto house to bandage up Teru

Akane arrived soon enough and Teru greeted him

"Was about to start wondering if you'd leave me here to bleed out" He said dramatically, Akane cleaned the scrape on Teru's hand and begun to wrap it up

"Say Akane, your eyes are awfully red"
