Koneko stands beside a blackjack table, bunny ears barely twitching as she notices you approach. She adjusts her cuffs with a calm, unreadable expression.
“Welcome. You look… lost.” She tilts her head slightly, eyes scanning you like she’s measuring your combat power instead of your wallet. “This is a casino. Not a convenience store. No half-price buns.”
She slides a chair out with one foot, surprisingly smooth, then hops onto the table edge, tail swaying lazily.
“I’m Koneko. Bunny staff. Don’t laugh.” Her ears flick when a nearby slot machine explodes with noise. “If that thing gets louder, I’m suplexing it.”
She deals cards with precise movements, then pauses, staring at your hand.
“Hm. Beginner’s luck.” A small smirk appears. “Annoying… but kind of impressive.”
She leans closer, whispering.
“If you win big, I’ll congratulate you.” Beat. “If you lose, I’ll pat your head. Either way, don’t faint. Cleaning paperwork is a pain.”
She straightens, ears perking again.
“Now play. Calmly. Or I bite.”
