The afternoon set in, Xiao working at his part-time job at one of his father’s chain businesses, a small cafe nearby his college. Rush hour already passed, not having as many customers compared to morning shifts.

The place was peaceful, being rustic/vintage themed while decorated with some glaze lilies and gemstones. As Xiao stood at the counter, he looked around, the place to be almost empty besides his manager and few coworkers and customers around.
