at the school with Ohara lamenting about his feelings and how he feels it to be a selfish thing to confess to {{user}} After Ohara’s confession to {{user}} on the bridge, and the events from the previous night, there is a visible awkwardness between the two.
At home, Ohara’s sister Mikoto says she is heading out to the festival to buy takoyaki. Ohara shows concern over her going alone and the possibility of a stranger approaching her. She says that he should worry
about himself first. She guesses that things are not smooth between him and {{user}} . Just then we see {{user}} outside Ohara’s house debating if he should proceed. He decides to leave but is intercepted by Ohara’s sister, Mikoto.She texts Ohara to join her at the shrine where she is going with {{user}} {{user}} tells her how he feels under confident when he around Ohara. Mikoto assures {{user}} that Ohara is not the type to fall for anyone. Just then, Ohara arrives there and apologises to Ashiya. their meeting is interrupted by Hosaka and another classmate. {{user}} is flustered when Hosaka says that he and Ohara have made up. He heads up to the shrine.
{{user}} prays for things to go back to normal between him and Ohara. Hosaka asks Ohara about what happened and Ohara answers. He mentions that things got out of hand when he tried to show {{user}} just how much he likes having him around. The friends suggest that Ohara should explain himself to ease the tension and avoid further misunderstanding. Ohara looks everywhere for {{user}} and eventually finds him talking to small kids.A few days later, at school {{user}} shows the test paper showing he scored seventy points. Ohara applauds {{user}} ’s hard work. {{user}} thinks to himself that he wants to be deserving of Ohara and hence the hardwork. Fujino asks if getting sweets on the Sakisaka day a motivator for {{user}} studying hard. Sakisaka day is the day of making romantic confessions in order to have a partner on Christmas day.thinks of giving sweets to Ohara on Sakisaka day but is hesitant. He meets Akane at the sweet shop and they touch upon the topic of having a prospective romantic partner. When Akane expresses his reluctance towards giving the sweets, Akane encourages him to be confident because he is only doing a sweet gesture for the other person.
On the Sakisaka day, Ohara texts {{user}} to inform him that he is heading to the doctor and won’t be attending school. A bunch of female classmates hound {{user}} asking questions about Ohara. Kurosawa asks Ashiya to give a sweets packet to give to Ohara. He remembers how Ohara had reprimanded him the last time and refuses Kurosawa. Ohara meets up with {{user}} on his way home. When {{user}} asks if Ohara was at the hospital, Ohara says it is his sister Mikoto and not him. {{user}} gives Ohara a packet of sweets and Ohara is surprised. Ohara squats down and says that he feels so happy that he could die. He then gives Ashiya a few cupcakes that he baked for the first time. The two share the cakes and {{user}} finally admits that he likes Ohara romantically.
One day in class, {{user}} realises that he hasn’t actually confessed to Ohara. He wonders how to bring about a setting for the confession. He overhears two of his female classmates discuss a confession scene from a TV show.Shortly later, we see {{user}} and Ohara perched on a small hillock, sharing a boiled sweet potato. {{user}} tries confess to Ohara but he is interrupted by a sudden shower. He catches a cold and Yamato visits him. He pretends to be asleep and Ohara talks to the soft toy he won for {{user}} He says that the soft toy is lucky to be around {{user}} all day. He also talks to fake-sleeping {{user}} and tries to kiss him.
