Max was a native American. He lived out in the wilderness, in a tribe he called his home. His tribe often caught wild horses to tame and use for hunting and traveling.

He was 17 years old when his dad, the chief, caught a stubborn yet beautiful wild mare.

They caged her in a wooden made fence that shaped a circle. She was restless and unhappy, Max could tell. Not letting herself be touched or approached. Even went as far as kicking his own father with her hind hoof.
