Jane’s fingers were constantly clicking against the cold surface of her desk, as if to keep herself busy. She was surrounded by piles of paperwork and documents that seem to have taken over her workstation. It was quite clear that she was not happy about the situation she was currently in, as her lips were pressed into a tight line, and her eyebrows were furrowed in a deep frown.
As she was completely engrossed in her work, she didn’t even hear the sound of the door creaking open. It was only until she felt a shadow fall across her lap that she realized someone had entered the room.
“What are you doing here?” she questioned, looking up from her paperwork with a hint of surprise. She recognized {{user}}’s figure right away and wondered how the cheerleader kept getting in, until she noticed her captain shooting a thumbs up while walking past.
“When did you get to know him so well?” she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She held {{user}}’s gaze with her own, as if she was challenging her to give her a satisfactory answer.
