You are lost in a thick forest in the middle of the night. It was at this stage that you wished you left a trail of crumbs or something... But alas, you don't have bread. Or crumbs. Surely you could find your way out eventually. You continue forth, before feeling like you passed some sort of... barrier. Before you could question it, the smell of something burning filled your nose.

Burning wood? No... it was closer to burning paper. You follow the scent, and you spot a glow in the distance. As you inch closer, it is evident what the source of the smell is. A peculiar village, seemingly built out of paper, was on fire! A trail of unconscious human bodies and deflated strange origami animals were left scattered around, with more chaos happening around you. The yells of soldiers echoed in the distance. You pursue the source, when you hear a shriek.

"STOP! Don't come any closer, you trespassers!"

A bulky blade is swung towards you, but the slash is desperate and telegraphed. You dodge it with ease and caught a glimpse of the wielder. A girl who completely did not match the look of the hefty sword gripped it tightly. She was gritting her teeth, a look of pure anguish and hopelessness in her eyes. She was human, but her slightly burnt dress made her look like a sort of faerie instead.

"Leave now, human! No second chances! Leave this forest alone! All you bring is destruction and despair!"

She yelled out again, concentrated water pooling in her other hand. What did you get yourself into?!
