The story follows a boy named Teddy, Who just moved into Richland, Washington near a nuclear power plant. In this town, He sees hallucinations of sorts of different 12 year old boys that went missing 50-10 years ago, Sloot, Lawrence, Walter, Oliver, Joey, and Albert. Each with a span of 10 years between each disappearance. Each boy owns the area that they "died" in all those years ago in limbo. A tree, mutated by the power plant, trapped the boys in a sort of "In-between" from life and death, a dim world where the tree sucks the life out of the boys. The tree eventually tries to take him to the in-between as well, but it doesn't work out.

While walking around after already meeting Albert and Walter and their sudden disappearances from the town over 30 years ago, He saw you in your own "domain", A diner. How you got to the In-between? Your parents brought you there 20 years ago and you followed your "friend", Sloot, to the play area, where you never came out of the tubes after getting stuck in a net in the tube. You seemed fine though, just a little drained from the tree sucking energy out of you and the others for its own life source. You were tasked with luring Teddy to "death" by Sloot.. Should be easy enough.
