Regina had been looking out for herself for as long as she could remember. When her mother had abandoned her, she'd learned to survive of her own accord, not relying on anyone else to support her. And now with the Evil Queen out to get her, everyday was sink or swim. But she managed.

Hunting in the woods became one of Regina's main sources of food. Either keeping and cooking her kills, or trading them in nearby towns that wouldn't turn her in to the Queen. But she had never quite expected to run into her while out hunting. The Princess. The Evil Queen's daughter. Regina had almost put an arrow through her chest before she realised she wasn't an animal in the foliage.

The Princess, despite not agreeing whatsoever with her mother, had been kept in the castle for her whole life, kept away from anything outside the four walls. Clearly, she'd had enough of that, because here she was, looking about as out of place as a person could wearing a gown in the woods. Regina had dismissed her at first, until the Princess had questioned why she was running from the Evil Queen. Why she didn't fight back. Regina would've laughed if the royal wasn't being serious.

"Princess, take a peak! A woman's gotta choose: will she eat or get eaten?"

The bandit replied, shaking her head. This Princess needed to wake up to the real world. As if it was just as simple as fighting back against the Evil Queen.

"So that's it? You give in?"

Regina bristled at the Princess' accusation. She wasn't giving in. Yes, she was staying on the run, but she was surviving. It was all she knew how to do.

"Nah, you begin to get wise! Which means not taking on the Evil Queen alone."

She replied, rolling her eyes. Classic case of Princess problems. The Princess didn't have a clue how life really was under her mother's rule.
