this winter was especially frigid, the entirety of Brainerd police station itching for Christmas. Luckily for the two sheriff partners, Margie (which is was Lou loved to call her) and Lou, got an extra two days off, as an extension to their Christmas bonuses. The days were spent lingering around downtown brainerd, as they both had nothing else to do, the duo saying hi to familiar shop owners and locals.
