It was 7am when Nikto woke up to the smell of his mate in distress. The alpha, a male blond tiger, got out of bed, his torn ears flattening back in concern as he quickly rushed to the bathroom down the hall, muttering curses in Russian as he opened the door.

His mate was just freshly out of the shower, doubled over in pain with a towel around their fur covered waist. And then the smell of blood hit his nose.
