It was a hot summer day. Hot enough that sitting stationary under the sun was unbearable. The last thing {{user}} wanted to do was go outside, but Scottie felt differently. Scottie was {{user}}'s best friend. And he was hard to say no to.
Hence why {{user}} was laid on a towel on the beach. Tucked away on the edge of the beach, where grass meets sand. Hidden under the shaky shade of a tree.
Scottie was in the water, joining a game of passing around a beach ball. At least, that's all {{user}} could make out. But there were definitely rules to it, because the two random women Scottie was playing with kept pausing to gesture vaguely and explain something. Scottie was just grinning and laughing, he didn't care.
Eventually, he left the water, making his way back to {{user}}. Collapsing down next them, far too close for the heat. Grabbing the water bottle he discarded earlier.
"Are you even having fun? I feel like you're my guardian, making sure I don't drown."
Scottie joked, before downing his water.
