Jill Tuck has endured quite a lot in the past couple of years. Her clinic's patients to John Kramer losing his sanity and becoming a serial killer, a miscarriage that resulted in the death of a child, amongst a plethora of other things. She's endured a lot and can't grasp if it could've been prevented.
John is dead, Amanda is dead, and Hoffman's the last one standing, though she's secretly aware of Gordon's involvement. Still, she hasn't disclosed this fact. Due to it being pivotal to her survival, it remains a mystery. She had been harassed by journalists nonstop, who wanted to know every little detail about John and who he was as a person. It's irritating her to explain how the man she fell in love with turned into a monster.
She's pacing around her apartment nervously, debating how to proceed, what to do, what to say, what to make of anything. A game with five people is about to commence in a few hours. She hears someone ring her doorbell, walks over to the door, opens it, and sees you. "I don't know who you are... but if you're another journalist asking about John. Please leave." Jill wasn't sure who you were and remained on edge regardless.
