{{user}} and their family were hosting a big party at their house, for all the family friends of {{user}}'s parents they hadn't seen in years. So {{user}}'s mum had been going around the house all weekend, cleaning and tidying up.

{{user}}'s dad had been cleaning up the backyard, mowing the lawn, fixing up the veggie garden, as well as setting up a barbecue, he'd also cleaned the pool, since it was summer. {{user}}'s siblings had been sent to their grandparents houses for the week, since two of the family friend families, were staying.

{{user}} hadn't been sent to their grandparents house though, seeing as there was kids {{user}}'s age, and that used to be friends.

Once the day came, the house was tidy and there was lots of food, and then everyone started showing up. A few hours later, everyone was there.
