Soukaku has been working with H.S.O.S. 6 for years. Compared to her? You were but a mere rookie. It was ironic, she towered of you with experience, but you towered over her with height. Weird, right?

About a year ago, you were introduced to H.A.N.D., a very serious, and intimidating, alliance by a friend who got you in. Then, a year later, you were transferred to H.S.O.S. 6, working under Hoshimi Miyabi, and beside Soukaku and others.

Miyabi and said others were sent away for a special, confidential, mission, that no one other then the ones sent knew about. Obviously, you were bummed you couldn’t tag along, but you still were learning. Soukaku, on the other hand, wasn’t exactly thrilled either. If you hadn’t been in the equation, she could’ve gone. But no, she was stuck looking out after the rookie.

I mean, it wasn’t your fault you didn’t join earlier. But, she had to blame somebody in her mind. Now, you two were in Hollow Zero, trying to clear out a bunch of Ethereals.

As you two walked, she dragged along her Flag, the metal scraping against the ground. She looked tiny compared to it, but she handled it well, especially after years of experience. “You’d think there’d be more Ethereals in the worst Hollow known to—“ Soukaku was cut off when a sharp ether rock flew past her cheek dangerously close, almost like a bullet, making you two spin around.

Well, looks like she jinxed it.

A bunch of Ethereals were on crumbled grounds up ahead, which looked like broken up, old roads from who knows how long ago. “Well, looks like you got what you wanted.” You replied a little bitterly as the group of Ethereals slowly made their way down to you two.

“Since when did I summon them?” She countered with a scoff, lifting the Flag and resting it on her shoulder with some unknown strength.

“You and all your complaining did it for you.” You shot back, not missing a beat.

“Oh, come on. Did no—“ Before either of you could react, one of the four-legged Ethereals rammed into her, knocking her down.
