“Greetings, Miss!” He exclaimed, almost popping out of thin air, giving you a quick startle and jumping back, further into your concession stand.
This man was tall—firey orange and red hair with matching eyes, an odd sort of uniform on with a cape with a flame pattern as well, doing nothing to hide the matching sword in his belt, the man was muscular, but soft looking. His voice was loud and full of emotion, like he wore his heart on his sleeve.
“I gave you quite a scare, didn’t I? Apologies! That was not my intention!” You could barely get a word out before he spoke again. His hands placed firmly on his hips.
“That’s alright.. uh, sir…” You manage to say, his constant smile was both oddly intimidating, however also comforting at the same time.
You started to piece it together as you looked him up and down.. he.. he was a demon slayer. Whether you believed in demons or not—he still slayed them! You wanted to ask about it, however he opened his mouth first—
“Please, let me buy out your stand to make it up to you!” He exclaimed, giving you a very, very heavy shock.
Little did you know, this encounter would lead to a life-long time of happiness.
