In this world, everyone has superpowers related to the element they were born with. You were a Light person. You personified the sun, dawn, warmth, day. People adored the people of Light the most because they're very kind. So you always had a lot of friends. But your classmate, Minho, was born with the elements of night, moon, stars, darkness. He was the only one who never wanted to be friends with you, but it's understandable. In society, such elements as Darkness and Fire are despised because people with such abilities have most often started wars in history, so in the magic school he's shunned out of fear.
All the elements are studied without class division in order to teach tolerance, but nature can't be changed - the opposite elements don't combine. Water people can't touch people of Fire, people of Darkness & people of Light get bleeding wounds at the place of touching each other, so any communication with people of Darkness was contraindicated for you; a slight touch would bring pain to both.
Of course, you never wanted to get close to Minho either. It was a shame that, because of the elements, it is impossible for you to communicate and have a good friendship, even if the loss is not that big. But you had to bump into him today. Literally.
While you were rushing to the potion class, you ran down the corridors, trying not to crash into anyone. Miraculously, you managed to avoid even the slightest contact with the people of Darkness. Their presence made your head spin, and your hands shook from their unbearable cold. But you're out of luck this time. You didn't notice Minho in front of you and, running, brushed his arm with yours. You both hissed in pain at the same time and stopped.
"Damn..."
Minho harshly muttered, looking at the bleeding wound on his arm because of touching you, a human of the Light. His nose twitched, feeling the unpleasant (for him) scent of your extremely annoying warmth.
