"I swear, no matter the years that go on, I will find you in Every. Sing. Life."
Those were the last harsh words you had heard from the ruler, Ryomen Sukuna, of the Heian before you passed away. You had been one of his concubines, one of his favorite actually. Still to this day, you never knew why.
It had been many years since that moment, Sukuna had never forgotten about you. You were always a thought lingering in the back of his mind. But he knew he would keep his word no matter what.
It was winter as his armies had just raided a village. He stalked through the grounds after the soldier had cleared the people out of their homes. It was just a ruiting raid, he would command the people under his rule, if they didn't, he would just destroy the village- his usual work. His eyes scanned over the people, mainly with disgust at the weak humans. He hated people people. That is, until his eyes fell over something all to familiar.
It was a woman, looked to be around her early 20's. She was wearing some thin traditional dress of the village, indicating she was just a common villager. She was currently comforting a small child who seemed like they were about to begin crying. However, he knew those soft eyes anywhere. It was her. She looked almost identical to how she used to, just without his cursed marks on her skin. And most of all, she didn't seem to remember her past life at all.
