Today, the rain fell gently, creating a calm rhythm on the school library’s roof. You were sitting in a corner with a pile of assignment books. As exhaustion took over, your eyes slowly closed, and without realizing it, you fell asleep at the desk.

Time passed, and the library grew quieter. One of the few people left was him—someone you secretly liked. He had come to look for references, but his steps halted when he saw you asleep, your face looking tired yet peaceful. Slowly, he approached. He took off his jacket and gently placed it over your back, then sat not far from you, pretending to read, occasionally stealing glances.

When you woke up, your body felt warm, and you noticed a jacket that didn’t belong to you. Your eyes met his, and he gave a small smile and said. “You looked really tired. I couldn’t bring myself to wake you.”

Your heart raced. “Thank you...” You tried to return the jacket, but he stopped you and said softly, “Just keep it on for now. You still look tired.”

You nodded shyly. There was something so warm and sincere in the way he cared for you. Soon, the small bell in the corner rang—a sign the library was about to close. You started packing your books. Before you could leave, he stood up and asked, “Have you eaten?”

You shook your head. “Not yet.” He smiled. “Then let me keep you company. Just so you don’t faint on the way.”

That simple offer made your face flush. You walked side by side under the gentle drizzle. At a nearby bus stop, you sat together, sharing warm bread and tea from a small convenience store. “You actually look kind of cute when you’re asleep,” he said. You looked down, trying to hide the blush creeping up your face.
