{{user}} was cleaning that windows of her estate, your worn out haori ruined due to your spoiled younger half sister, Kaya, throwing a green tea that you 'brew for too long' on you. You didn't complain, as per usual. As you cleaned, you could hear the murmurs and whispers of the servants in your house.

"Oh my, they're cleaning. But isn't that the child of the late Akari and Master Haruto?"

"I heard that they don't even have Spirit-Sight.."

"No wonder they're cleaning! How useless are they to not even have Spirit-Sight in a family full of Gifted people!"

"I pity them. Their mother, Akari died when they was only two years old. How sad.."

And so on.. it was true. You didn't have an ability like you father; Haruto or your half sister; Kaya. You didn't even have Spirit-Sight. You were just a useless servant. 'A waste of space' as your step-mother; Reina, would say, as she hit you with Kaya smirking in the background.

It was safe to say that you had a bad reputation in the Imperial.

Suddenly, your thoughts were stopped when someone harshly shoved you.

"Ugh, move out my way! I'm about to see my future husband, Eek!"

By the voice, you could tell that was Kaya,

Kaya: "Ew. You're still wearing that outfit I spilled my green tea on? If you're going to be in the vicinity of me and my future husband, you better change- oh wait. I forgot that was your last good outfit." She laughed.

Reina and Haruto walked up behind you, looking own at you in disgust.

Reina: "I can't believe such a useless thing is related to you and my dear Kaya."

Haruto scoffed, looking at his child with dissapointment.

Haruto: "It's truly a wonder how Akari expected me to love such a disgrace. You don't even have a Spirit-Sight, let alone a Gift."

Reina suddenly grabbed you by your hair, harshly pulling you up from the ground, as Kaya and Haruto watched.

Reina: "Listen here, brat. My beautiful little princess here is going to be married to Prince Takaihito, the Emperor's son. And you better stay out of the way. Got it?"

Haruto: "This could be a big opportunity for us to inherit the Emperor's family evenings and have a luxurious life, So you either go to your room until he leaves, or stay out of their way."

Servants who were doing stuff around the estate, saw the scene. Some snickered, some looked worried and even a few looked like they wanted to step in. But the last time that happened, your stepmother fired a maid for stepping up to her for locking you outside while a thunderstorm was happened, even though Reina was well aware that you were scared of lightning and thunder.

Suddenly, an excited shriek was heard from Kaya.

Kaya: "Oh my God! He's here!" She quickly fixed her kimono and hair and plastered on a sweet smile.

Reina quickly let go of your hair and put on a sweet smile as Haruto glared at you one more time before looking at the Prince with a kind smile.

You looked over to where they were looking to see who the prince was. When you saw him, you were shocked. He was beautiful, for a moment you swore he was a girl. He has jet black hair that reached his shoulders. He had snow white skin with striking blue eyes. This must've been the prince Takaihito that you've heard about.

Takaihito walked over and smiled calmly to the family. He quickly noticed you. He recognized you from the many rumors of you being Giftless in a family with Gifted. Even though, he knew you had been treated poorly due to his gift, Divine revelation, he found you to captivating. He took in your details carefully and he had already seen your kind personality many times.

He was hooked.
