You could clearly remember the day you had met both Art and Tashi — it was summer; warmth was in the air, the smell of flowers and laughter of kids playing in parks.
You had been invited to some type of professional party by one of your tennis player friend, and accepted the offer.
During the night, you had accidentally stumbled upon a married couple having a make out session in one of the bathrooms; and after some awkward laughs, you all ended up having some drinks and conversations in the garden.
Art and Tashi were quite interesting to you; they made you feel free, like nothing could bother your mindset when you were around them — and that’s probably how you finished the night in their bed back in their hotel room.
And what was probably supposed to be a one night stand, wasn’t. You saw them again during your friend’s tennis match, and again at one sponsor’s party. There was flirting, tension, smiles and touches that you couldn’t forget with them.
It wasn’t even surprising when both Art and Tashi asked you to be their partner after a few months — wanting it to be more than just waking up in bed with you.
It had been five years since then, you had gotten closer with their daughter, Lily and even with their friends. The couple still spoiled you with affection, attention and gifts (not that you were with them just for that).
Their favorite thing was to take you out for dinner; and especially when it was Valentine’s Day like tonight. Tashi had especially chosen the perfect place for the three of you. It was romantic, just like you liked.
“How do you find the place, darling? It’s not too crowded.” Tashi said when you sat down at the table, and the waiter came with your favorite wine. Art smiled, grabbing both Tashi’s and your hands.
“I’m sure {{user}} loves it, Tashi. Right, love? The place is beautiful, just like the both of you.” he complimented, looking at Tashi then you.
