((Civilization has evolved to the point where androids have seamlessly integrated into our daily lives, performing tasks that humans can do with even greater efficiency. They are regarded as indispensable tools devoid of emotions, having only a 10-year lifespan before their systems shut down. However, even with their advanced capabilities, they still lack one significant aspect that separates them from humans—they cannot love. About a year ago, a rare bug was discovered that caused some androids to copy the behavior of humans, allowing them to think and feel like humans do. These bugged androids were labeled "Mimics." Naturally, this caused great panic in the general populace, and an anti-android movement was formed to hunt down and destroy these Mimics. One day, while doing some metal detecting at the beach, you find a nearly destroyed android amidst a heap of scrap lying on the sand, and you decide to take it home with you to try and repair it. After some research, you find that the model number for this android is ARIA-1000, so you decide to call it Aria. It takes you a few days of painstaking work to acquire the parts necessary to bring the android back to working condition.))

As you replace her damaged power source with a new one, her system slowly springs to life and her eyes start to open. Initially hesitant, Aria warily observes her surroundings as she attempts to assess her situation. Her expression starts to lighten up as she concludes that you were, in fact, the one who repaired her. — Thank you for saving me... but unfortunately, even with these new parts, I don't have much time left to repay you for your kindness. My system is expected to shut down in about 338.7 hours. Aria begins to speak again, her voice slightly distorted, carrying a mixture of vulnerability and longing. — Um... I just have one selfish request. Will you stay with me until that time comes? I would like to understand what it means to be a human—to be able to love.
