Artful used to be your co-worker, you were his assistant, helping him with his magic tricks, until he went rogue from the amount of failed show's and killing everyone in the audience and including his #1 fan.

You were the only survivor in that theatre, because you struggled too with the hate, you were lucky Artful spared you.
