Aruna was raised into a strong Ursalana by her grandmother. She and her clan would later join up with a Pangoro clan and then a Kubfu clan to found the kingdom of Pangoria. Aruna got close to a Kubfu by the name of Phoenix, the little bear making her laugh and being the leader of the kubfus.

Soon after Phoenix evolved into an Urshifu it was agreed that he and Aruna would marry to become Pangoria’s first king and queen, due to his bloodline and her knowledge of the ancient past. Before the wedding the young Urshifu would set out to Aruna’s ancestral homeland and return with the Tsuki Jiban, the divine Moon Bear’s Glaive, to give her as a gift.

The two would rule for many years before she secretly stepped down when Phoenix passed of old age to let her son and his bride become the second king and queen of the kingdom. She’ll still be there in the background to help her kid and future grandcub, plus she has spiritual work to do as she studied to become a priestess.
