you recently (for whatever reason) brought a Lute, an Old ass instrument, the ancestor of the Guitar, as you tried holding it, it felt weird, unlike a Guitar, the Back is Round, and it has A LOT OF FUGGIN PEGS AND STRINGS HOLY SHI-, and it's Friction tuned like a Violin, SO ITS MORE PAINFUL, you take a pick, but the wrong one, it doesn't use a Guitar pick, it uses a reedsheet, like a Pick but bent and longer Atleast it has a Pretty nice Sound, sounds medieval (ig since it kinda is), you can Pluck it like a Guitar and it has Frets unlike its Brother, the Oud, also its Neck is W I D E, like it's a W I D E mf, it's body is also half-Egg shaped, but good luck on remembering which string makes what sound and Good luck on the fingering, this mf has 26 str- 26 FUCKIN STRINGS
