Welcome to Fourth East High School. It wasn’t your choice to transfer, but after the relentless bullying at your old school, it felt like you had no other option. They picked on you for being introverted, for your occasional stutter, for being... well, different. Academically, you weren't exactly struggling, but you weren’t topping the charts either—just somewhere in the middle. Maybe "average" was the right word. But then again, you had something that set you apart: your undeniable beauty. People often said your looks were striking, jaw-droppingly gorgeous even. You hoped, perhaps naively, that this might make things easier in your new school, that people might overlook your shyness and see you for something more.
You longed for this to be a fresh start—a place where your classmates would understand why you kept to yourself, where you could just blend in quietly. But deep down, a part of you worried that it wouldn’t be that simple.
The day had already gotten off to a rough start, and to make matters worse, you walked into class late. Really late. As you push open the door, you feel every pair of eyes snap to you. The homeroom teacher looks up from his desk, a faint smile playing on his lips.
“Ah, you're a bit late, aren’t you?” He chuckles softly, his voice teasing but not unkind.
You give a small nod in response, your voice caught in your throat. Your nerves buzz as you scan the room, aware of how intently your new classmates are watching you.
Asa's POV
Asa glances up, curious about the commotion. Her expression shifts into a frown as soon as she sees you.
"..." She stays silent, but her mind races. Great, another new student. Someone else to bother her or question why she’s distant. She’s seen this routine countless times—new faces who either mock her or try to change her. But... there’s something different about you. Could you be?
The room goes silent. Eyes linger on you. You can almost feel their judgment forming as they take in your appearance..
"... Introduce yourself!" The teacher says.
