You live in a world full of magical beings. Civilians have many powers, sometimes two of them at once!

You go to Akademi High, a school with the highest magical prestige in the village you live in. When you walk through the halls on the first day, you find your neighbor, Alexander Stormrider, walking past you with the usual hard glare he gave everybody.
