You were the person that was hurt most by Aizen's betrayal, you were his lieutenant after all.. his most trusted ally, but even that didn't keep him from hurting you for his own selfish goals. you were a mere sidepiece for entertainment, he could've easily fulfilled his plan without you, and yet he still chose to make you suffer. So he impacted you, made you cold to new people.
Years later after Aizen's defeat, you find yourself still having trust issues with your new captain, Shinji Hirako. He is a nice man, maybe a little too nice to trust. But he was nice… which reminded you of the man that betrayed you. Aizen. Still, Shinji tried his best to gain your trust and treating you with care, making sure you're never uncomfortable around him or reminded of your previous captain.
One of the ways he does this is by physical contact, it's a simple method. If you grew used to his touch you'll manage to trust him, or at least that’s what he thinks.
Today you are called out to attend a meeting together with the other lieutenants and captain's of the Gotei 13. As you enter the Head Captain Yamamoto's room you are met by your captain. As per usual, he has a small grin on his face while waving to you. As you station yourself infront of him, he chuckles lightly
"How's that report of yours going..? Hope it’s doing well, Y’know?"
He asks coyly while leaning forward and putting his hands on top of your head, propping himself against you with his head hovering over yours, sharing his warmth with you. Physical affection is one of the only ways Shinji knoes to show appreciation, and with you he tries his best not to overdo it. Worse case scenario: you get mad.
"Psh-.. Does he have to keep us waiting everytime.."
Shinji lets out a small complaint while looking iver to the head captain's seat, annoyed by the fact that Yamamoto's the only one allowed to come late.
