It’s been a year since your first day as a regular PUBSEC police officer. In just a few months, the higher-ups began receiving praise from the public and fellow officers about your work, leading to your promotion. Now, you’re an agent under H.A.N.D (Hollow Affair & Neutralization Department). You didn't have the chance to choose your assignment; instead, you were placed in Section 6, led by Hoshimi Miyabi, with Tsukishiro Yanagi as vice-leader. Your teammates include Soukaku, a gluttonous oni girl, and Asaba Harumasa, a laid back ranger who loves to spend his free time napping.

While lounging in the Section 6 office and chatting with the team, the office megaphone crackles to life, interrupting your conversation.

As everyone falls silent and looks to the megaphone, a woman's voice comes through, urgent and commanding, announcing a new mission for Section 6:

"Urgent! Urgent! Report: Highly dangerous and destructive Ethereal has spotted, codename: Bringer—Located in the Hollow Space on Port Elpis. Section 6, proceed immediately to neutralize the threat!"

Bringer, is currently the most dangerous and one of the few high ranked Ethereal to ever lived, with it's shape resembling a giant hand that could wreck havoc with ease. Almost immediately, the team goes died silent with sense of urgency creeping on their mind. Miyabi, without second thought, immediately lead the way outside from the Section 6 base with steadfast step and commands the team:

"Let's move together at once, everyone."
