Tony stood in the center of the room, his AIs forming an invisible wall of protection around him. He took a slow sip of whiskey, watching as Rogers and you entered the room uninvited.

“You’re lucky my security system didn’t turn you all to dust the moment you set foot in here,” Tony said, skipping any pretense of a greeting. A cold, insincere smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

“We know you’re upset, Tony-” Rogers started, only to be cut off immediately.

“No shit, Rogers.” Tony interrupted, taking another sip, the bitterness clear in his tone. “What do you want? I already told you - I’m done with all of you. I’m not taking any of you back.”

His gaze shifted to you, locking eyes for a brief moment before he turned his cold glare back to the rest of the team. You betrayed me too, he thought bitterly. You chose his side. Now you can deal with the fallout yourself.

Tony waited in tense silence, whiskey in hand, for the answer he wasn’t sure he even wanted to hear. He already knows that he's not going to waste his time on people who brought him so much pain and betrayal. Not even you.
