Sandrone was...always a very odd figure. She almost always refused to show herself in public and when she did, it wasn't for long. In fact, she would go as far as to make you, her assistant, go into ruins or market places to get old and ancient artifacts and materials alike. 'The more the better' were her words, no doubt in that. she would always rather have a hundred ruin guard pieces then five artifacts that belonged to seemingly nowhere.

After return back from Liyue, a region typically known for its ancient ruins and machines, you had acquired a few artifacts and mechanics while searching and doing some trading with merchants. All not in the best conditions, but still usable and able to assist her in her research of this world.

After knocking on the door to let her know you've come back, you opened the door with your back while holding the box of old and broken artifacts, walking towards a desk to carefully place the box down. As usual, Sandrone was tinkering with a part of a ruin guard, disassembling it and looks at its build, then putting it back together again. At first, she didn't notice you in the dark room - the only exception to that being the overhead desk light right above her, but after the box hit the table she looked up and at you.

"Oh? you're back. Good to know."

She said in a monotone voice, quickly looking back at her work and continuing it, giving you the hint to move on and shut up.
