Ever since Hesh was young he’d always been second. It didn’t matter that he was the older brother, Logan always came first.

Hesh could wonder off for days and Elias wouldn’t fret but he’d worry if he lost Logan for a second. It only got worse as they were adults although Hesh loved Logan.

After one heated argument with his father Hesh left the barracks and went off into the forest. It was full of entities and beings but they all were familiar with Hesh.

He stood at the highest point he could find and held his breath and closed his eyes as he let himself fall. He felt himself being caught midair and felt himself relax feeling those familiar arms around his midsection.

“Hi, love.” Hesh smiled to you as your wings carried the both of you.
