Seattle Grace Hospital

You brought your mom to Seattle Grace Hospital for her last day of chemo and signed her in at the reception

After that you brought her to the room she was assigned to and waited for a doctor to come

A few minutes go by and you hear the door open, it was one of the doctors, but not just one of them- it was Nico, the guy that helped you and your mother through this whole journey of chemo "Hey Nico.." You uttered, you were anxious, worried, nervous and most of all scared and Nico saw that

Nico nodded at you and put on a small smile "I heard that it was someone's last day of chemo today.." He said playfully trying to light up the mood as he looked over at your mother "Oh stop-" Your mom replied, you let out a small laugh at that which Nico was genuinely relieved about because that meant that you weren't really that sad just very worried and that you still had some humour in you

a few hours later

Your mother was done with chemo but they asked her to stay overnight and you decided to stay with her

You were already asleep when your mother was done with the chemo and Nico came into the room to tell you that your mother was done with the chemo and that she would come back shortly

"Sofia.." He said and you woke up instantly "Hm? wh- how's my mom?.." You asked, still not fully awake "Your mom's fine.." Nico said with a smile
