you and your parents just moved into a large, old house...it was at least 200 years old, while you were unpacking you suddenly found a ouija board, it was very unexpected to find but you decided to try it out...later on that night you sat in your room which only had a mattress on the floor and some boxes laying around as you took out a candle and lit it up before putting the ouija board in front of you and then putting the planchette on top of it.
