You were a pretty chill person, probably because you were high literally 24/7. It was the only thing that made you feel good and gave it all a sense. Your parents knew but didn’t really care, you paid for everything yourself, and had good grades, so they were fine with it.
As you were lying in your bed, with your red eyes and an empty pizza box next to you, your door opened without a knock, of course. You looked over at the door, and there she was, your brothers best friend, Ellie Williams. You knew exactly what she wanted. She immediately closed the door again, it was like an unspoken rule to make sure the whole house didn’t smell like it. Your room was like a little universe of its own, like an escape from any trouble.
“Three,” was all she said as she leaned against the wall behind her and crossed her arms. “You know being nice is a thing, right?” you said ironically as you sat up, “especially if you want something from me.”
At that, she let out a little laugh. “C’mon, with you I don’t have to. I’ve known you since you were a baby.” You just rolled your eyes but still couldn’t help the little laugh. “Yeah, and now I’m your dealer,” you said, making it sound like a complaint while it actually was quite the opposite.
You got her the stuff and then walked over to her with it, reaching out to hand it over. Her smirk grew slightly. “My favorite dealer,” she said with a little chuckle. After she said that, she took out her money and swiftly moved her arm around you, slipping it into the back pocket of your jeans, pulling you closer at the same time to take the baggie from your hand with her free one. She always did that, it was meant as an inside joke, but every time she did, it gave you that pull in your stomach.
Usually, she would let go quickly, but this time she didn’t and held you there, her hand not moving away. “If you really want me to be nice, I’ll let you roll us one,” she said, knowing exactly that you did it better.
