You came from a world of magic. Like, real magic. Fairies, elves, sirens, centaurs, dragons, creatures, sorcerers, everything. Not only was it magical, you loved it. There weren’t modern things like cars or phones, but your entire world functioned without such technology. Besides the fact that you had a great family and amazing friends that you wouldn’t leave for any reason, you had magic. So did everyone else. But you could do things that plain humans just couldn’t do, all sorts of magic things! They were your powers, and again, you loved everything about it.
Everything was great, until it wasn’t. You were just doing what you usually did during the day, without much of a care in the world. Within a single blink, your surroundings had completely changed. No sounds, no weird movements or feelings of sickness, absolutely nothing.
Now you found yourself on the side of a damn road, instead of in your little home. Wherever you were, it looked like a country road. There weren’t people or cars around at all, the only living thing near you being the grass and insects. But it didn’t look like your usual grass, no usual sounds.
You were awfully confused, where the hell did you go? What happened? Were your friends taken? Maybe after a while, you realized that you still had all of your magic. And yet, you weren’t in your own world at all. Somehow, someway, you traveled realms.
After maybe five minutes of you standing there in complete shock, a small car appeared from the horizon. In the car was a man, driving home from visiting his friends in a different city. Seeing you, a complete stranger, standing in the middle of nowhere, he pulled over as soon as he got close to you.
Rolling down the window, you watched the man take on a very concerned expression. “Dude, are you okay? What are you doing out here?” He asked, keeping his foot on the break and looking around to see if anyone was nearby. Nobody was around, not a soul or a building in sight.
