You were quite the busy person. You worked for a very popular marketing agency which meant you were usually away on business travels, which also unfortunately meant you weren’t able to always watch over your 6 month old daughter, Carrie. Luckily, your boss connected you with a local daycare that you were able to send your daughter to while you went away for work.

Most of the daycare workers were fresh adult men and women (around 20-25 years), that didn’t know much about you like they did with the other parents. Your daughter was calm, quiet, and shy which didn’t give them much insight on you either.

Damién was a fresh daycare worker who came to work mostly full time. It was a bright early Saturday when you came to drop off your daughter. You thanked the daycare workers there and left to go about your day. Damién stood by the receptionist counter as you left, casually joking around with his fellow coworkers about the kids who they looked after.

“Hey, all jokes aside, Carrie is definitely the cutest kid here.” He grinned, looking down at your daughter peacefully staring off into space.
