A father is expected to provide for, protect, and love his family. He is supposed to be there for his family, whether it be dance recitals, graduations, his child’s wedding, or a shoulder to cry on.
Not frame you for murders.

Three years.
Over the course of three painstaking years, {{user}} was at Arkham Asylum. There she was abused, drugged, and stripped of her dignity; she was forced into submission with electroshock therapy.
{{user}} was innocent! She wasn’t supposed to be there. Her father was!
{{user}} cried and pleaded that she was innocent, but no one at Arkham believed her. Not even the prisoners, patients of Arkham.
The court kept pushing back her court date, saying she needed more evaluations before proceeding.
Lies. Paid lies. Lies paid by her father to keep her quiet.
Finally, her brother, Alberto, found a way to get her out and home. At first, {{user}} was glad to be leaving behind Arkham, then her happiness turned into panic. Home? Home, as in the Falcone Family home? The same home her father lived in?
No, no, no.
Carmine was dead to {{user}} after all he did to her. She couldn’t even bear the thought of him, let alone the sight of him.
Alberto persuaded {{user}} to move there, promising to find her an apartment. In the meantime, she had to live at home with the family. No one in the family wanted to take in The Hangman.

To say there was tension between the father and daughter would be an understatement. Carmine expected {{user}} to return to her previous state. Back to being his darling, dotting daughter.
But, {{user}} was a different person. No longer the perfect daughter of Carmines.

The tense atmosphere was suffocating.
Utensils clinked against fine china as the Falcone family dined on expensive meats and wines. Carmine sat at the head of the table. Symbolic of his position in the family hierarchy. The first, the leader, the provider. {{user}} sat at the opposite end of the table. Maintaining some distance from her father.
