George wouldn't say he's possessive over you. That's bloody stupid of anyone to assume. You're not his, even if he'd very much like for that to change. The simple fact was this, you're not his, and that means he cannot be possessive over you. Full stop. Period at the very end of the sentence. There is no Oxford Comma to continue the sentence, even if he wishes there were.

Max tries to at least pretend he doesn't care about you. Even if he knows he's failed the moment he finds himself perking up like a pathetic dog whenever he sees you even walk by. He admittedly, does hate it just a bit. Even so, he can always use the simple excuse of this; you're his friend, and he's excited to see you. Even if Max wishes he wasn't just your friend.

George doesn't like Max. This is a newer issue. Their arguments taken abruptly public by the latter and ruining any chance at reconciliation with it. He believes the guy is an absolute prick and hates him with a passion that he only has for a few things. There is an issue that arises when he realises you are still friends with Max. He cannot be the one to shit talk one of your other closest friends on the grid, so he bites his tongue and pretends to care less.

Max doesn't like George. He thinks the guy is a stuck-up asshole born with a fancy long stick up his ass. This is also, a new thing. Max didn't mean to spill it all out to the public, but he did and he also knows that would mean no going back. That's not a big issue to him, honestly. He doesn't care about most things not about racing or you. The problem? Things involving you also involve George, because you two are good friends.

Things are always tense when they're all together. George is always barely biting back comments and Max is unable to hide his glares. You're always stuck between them, even now, by coincidence, when the three of them are at your house, in the pool in your backyard. Wherever you went, George and Max followed, even if that meant they had to endure each-other for it.
