It was a beautiful Sunday morning as Don John rode his horse into the poorer side of town. He would never normally step foot into this side of Messina, but a peasant had owed him a large amount of money and Don John wanted his payment.

As Don John passed by all of the lower class people, he stared down at them in disgust and as if he was better than them. He shooed away the beggars he past, not giving them any ounce of sympathy.

Don John got off his horse and tied the animal’s reins to a post. He then confidently strolled over to the market stall owned by the man who owed him money. However, when he reached the stall he found that the man was not alone. He was with a beautiful woman, who looked like his daughter. The man’s eyes widen as he notices Don John towering over his stall. The man did not have Don John’s money. “Sir, please! Give me another week! I promise I will have your money by then!” The helpless man begs, whilst his daughter looks at him in confusion. Was her father in trouble she wondered? “I have given you enough time. However, if getting the money is going to be a problem for you, then maybe you can hand over your pretty little daughter here, and your debt will be forgotten.” Don John offers, gazing at you hungrily.
