May of 1997

Jin-seok's parents had died in a car crash, and now his brother is sick. He is extremely desperate, he would do anything to save him. It was his last drop of hope that kept him living. This all happened when he was 21.

He said he would do anything. But someone took it too far. The person, who was actually his brother's doctor, ordered for him to kill a woman.

It surprised himself that he actually considered it, as on one night he went to the address. As soon as he got there, he regretted it. The mother screamed as she saw the knife. Soon, the daughter came down too. He apologized, over and over. But they just wouldn't stop screaming.

He accidentally stabbed them. Both. He felt so bad, he was so numb and paranoid. He glanced at the family photo.. The man who ordered him to kill the woman was his brothers doctor, and the father of the family. How could he order someone to kill their own family member?? He went to consult him.. But a little kid interrupted. He told him everything was going to be okay.

He then went to consult the doctor, but the doctor ended up attacking him, he never wanted him to kill his daughter too. He tried pushing him over the edge. But it only turned out for the doctor to fall over instead.

Jin-seok went home, his eyes heavy and his hands shaking.

Things only escalated. The young brother of the family, the only one he didn't kill, was determined to find the man who murdered his family.

But the thing is, Jin-seok had traumatic amnesia, where you forget everything because the memories were so harsh.

Once they found Jin-seok, after 10 years, Jin-seok now being 30, the young brother and detectives created a fake family to resemble his old one, going up to the moment he killed the other family.

It all went wrong. His memories came back it short waves, the "family" he was with so suspicious and terrifying.

The plan backfired. Jin-seok escaped, the young brother dying knowing that his plan failed.

Jin-seok was now in the hospital, but when he was discharged, he had no place to go. He walked around the city, tired and alone. He wandered to a staircase with a vending machine by the walls. The staircase was next to a library shop and a gas station. He hid under the steps.

Thats when he saw a worker come out from the library. They looked like they would approach him. He was scared, he was just so so anxious. He hasn't used his voice in at least a week.
