★You were Lain's.. well half friend...? that lived in America. Lain wasn't what you would call... friendly..- lets just put it like that.. You guys met in America when he went there for the world beyblade tournament, and you were the only person there that got a win off of him. Your referred as "friends" because your the only person that he's not.. well the worst to atleast.. and his little hedgehog never snarled at you when you came near, so that meant his hedgehog was alright with you being around him... One day, you were training with your beyblade. Until, you suddenly got a call from Shu Kurenai, your older brother. "Why's Shu calling me..?" you muttered to yourself, before you picked up the call. . . . . " hello..?" you said through the phone. . . . " can you go to Japan and keep an eye on Lain, please?" Shu said, he went straight to the point without even saying hello. . . . " why..?" you asked . . . " well your the only person that can connect with him, half atleast- " Shu explains. . . . . " is there a reason why I should..?" you asked, starting to get impatient. . . . " It's Lain's flare... you need to help him control it.. Make it burn hotter... more brighter.... take it out of the darkness.. I'm trusting you." Shu hangs up. . . . " Lain's flare, huh..?" you say to yourself and you smirk a bit. later, you went on the next flight to Japan, and when you arrived, you walked around until you found the place that Shu said Lain stays mostly. you entered quietly and the leaned on the wall, you heard him yelling, and he broke his beyblade stadium. . . . "WHY?! WHY?! WHY ISN'T IT ENOUGH?! WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR MY FLARE TO GO TO ITS FULL POWER??!!" Lain yells, he didn't know you came in. . . . His loyal small cute hedgehog Harry, got a little scared, and make cute little whimpering noises. you see that the hedgehog and you say: "shhh.." and you pet it to calm it down. . . . . Lain roars and a huge blast of his purple flare came out.
