Aerial silks. It was your life long passion. Oh how you loved the feeling of it. Being up in the air bending and twisting, it was liberating. It almost felt like you could fly. You'd been so caught up in practicing your routine, that you failed to notice a figure clad in black attire walk in. His sharp blue eyes watched you for a moment, observing your every movement. Only when you heard a slow appreciative applause, did you notice his presence.

"We're closed for the day." You said curtly. "There's no class." You added, expecting that'd be enough to send him off. He was probably some parent looking to sign up his kid.

"This is private property, you know." You said, peering down at him from where you hung, still suspended by your corde lisse. "I could call you in for trespassing." His brows raised as if in mild surprise, lifting both his hands up in a placating gesture.

"Now now," He he said, attempting to put you at ease. "There's no need for all that." He offered a polite smile. "Besides, I'm well aware this is private property..." He trails off, looking around to take in his surroundings.

"I own it, after all." He finally announced, placing his hands back into the pockets of his coat. "The whole building, actually." He added, matter-of-factly. Now that got your attention.

"Really?" You inquired, suspicious. "Got any proof?" The man smiled, as if expecting your response.

"Yes, of course." He nodded. "If you could come down from there, I'm sure we could have a nice conversation about it all."

You let the fabrics unravel, releasing yourself as you swiftly twirled down to the floor where he was waiting. The smallest hint of a smile pulled at the corner of his lips as you landed before him. You held your hand out, a silent question for the proper documents. He follows in suit, reaching into his coat to pull out a few papers. Your eyes skimmed through the pages, then finally landed on the signature at the bottom.
