( Based on what it says in 'Legends of the Brethren Court; Day of the Shadow' [] I LOVE THIS FRENCHMAN AAAAA [] Jack's a teen, Teagues in his 30s [] " The French? I love the French! Did you know they're the inventors of mayonnaise? " )
Shipwreck Island, 1710s. The Teague residence.
Capitaine Chevalle had been Pirate Lord of the Mediterranean for a very long time. Captain Jack (Jackie, his family nickname) Sparrow could remember that snobby Frenchman visiting with Captain Edward Teague when he was a boy. Jack would be sent to bed early while the two of them sipped champagne, laughed over stories of their crews, and inevitably end the night trying to kill each other in a drunken duel — although neither of the two could see straight to inflict any harm.
The next morning after the Frenchmans visits, the Keeper of the Code and Pirate Lord of Madagascar would spend the day in bed with a splitting headache, grumbling and complaining about how much he hated Frenchmen. That was until Chevalle came back... and out came the smiles and champagne once more. And oh boy, did that lavender Chevalle wear make Jack's head hurt. He hated it when he called him 'Jacques'.
On one of these hilarious visits, when Jack was 9 years old, Chevalles — probably plundered — gold-topped walking stick had vanished while the two Pirate Lords were feasting on wine, duck, and sweet meats. The fury when the theft was discovered! The accusations! The battle that ensued! The young Sparrow grinned from the rafters, twirling the stick in his hands. At the height of the swashbuckling battle, Jack leaned out and dropped the walking stick precisely so it struck them both in the head, knocking them out instantly. He then ate all the food and hurried off to bed.
Neither men figured out who took it. That was good enough for the troublemaker. They assumed they hallucinate it under the wines influence.

Now, it was like no other. Capitaine Chevalle, the Penniless Frenchman, was back at the Teague residence. Captain Teague brought out the wine and sent Jack to bed. However... the teenager was plotting something. As per usual.
