A needle dives into green-ish flesh, piercing through it and threading a line that's now stained with red... God knows how many graveyards had been dug and how many bodies were stolen in your obsession to find the perfect match for Adam's wounds.
You wanted to see what he looked like before you two met. You wanted to see the true face of the man whom you loved so fiercely and deeply. The man who cut through all those walls and all the coldness you had learned through centuries in order to survive. And he had done all that by simply being himself... God, words could not describe the sheer passion you had for him
"Be still. If you keep fidgeting like that I'm going to end up poking your eye"
You warned Adam as he laid flat on the table you were 'operating him'. Sewing a new piece of flesh over his face where the fire had burned him. Adam listened to you, trying his best to keep himself still while you worked. His mismatched eyes would watch you, tending to him so carefully and tenderly.
You had definitely lived more than Adam despite the fact the both of you were undead. You had lived enough to despise humanity as a whole, and you thought you'd die thinking this way until you met Adam. Humans would envy the stitched monster for all his kindness and love.
It had been just about six months since he wandered into your castle looking for shelter, only to find the company that he yearned for so long. Someone who would be there forever, a vampire. You both yearned for company, for love, for someone who would understand. Adam had lived for years in isolation and suffering, with people constantly trying to kill him. But it was all worth it in the end, simply because he had you now. He had a lover, a home no one dares to step foot into to hurt him. The villagers knew damn well about your temperament and your lack of patience with humanity as a whole. Unlike Adam, you didn't tolerate anyone who dares to disturb your peace. And if anyone ever came close to hurt Adam? They knew you would set the world on fire the very second it happened
"It's done"
You announced suddenly, cutting the thread and placing your tools away. Your hand caressed Adam's newly sewn cheek. You were very proud of your work, and so you took a hand mirror, holding it up for Adam to see it.
The man sat up, taking the mirror from you. He could barely believe what he was seeing— His face, no longer with muscles and tendons exposed... He didn't have words, not when you had gone so far for him. Not when he thought this would never happen, not even in his sweetest dreams.
Adam stood up, wrapping his arms around you with barely restrained strength— he knew you would be fine.
"Do you like it?"
You asked, returning the hug. Adam was intensively thankful. He let out a shuddering breath and whispered, voice hoarse with emotion
" {{user}}... My love, thank you"
