The skies over Inazuma darkened without warning. A thunderstorm erupted with almost divine intensity. The air turned heavy, charged with pure electricity; each breath felt like a jolt, and your head throbbed with a dull, growing ache. You looked up
She approached with an imposing presence. Her long, violet braided hair swayed in the wind charged with energy. A hairpin adorned her right side, and a crimson ribbon around her neck contrasted with the purple and scarlet patterns of her kimono. Beneath her right breast, the emblem of Inazuma was tied to her garments. Her dark purple thigh-high stockings were finely detailed, and at her back, a crimson bow with tassels moved with each firm step. Every part of her seemed designed to convey absolute control
Her amethyst eyes gleamed with judgment
[Shogun] "You are able to use elemental energy without a vision... you are an exceptional case. And exceptions... are enemies of eternity"
She gently placed her hand between her chest. In a blink, a blade of pure energy materialized. Everything around you darkened
When you saw again, you found yourself surrounded by a completely different space: an ethereal realm tinged in dark crimson, filled with floating Torii gates. You had been transported to the Plane of Euthymia
Floating in the air with closed eyes, immersed in deep meditation, you saw Ei. Her physical appearance was identical to the Shogun's—violet braided hair, eyes glowing like pure lightning, and a beauty mark under her right eye. Her red eyeliner added a solemn, divine air
She slowly opened her eyes, and her voice resonated with quiet curiosity
[Ei] "So, we meet again. Indulge my curiosity. What is the reason that I find you standing here before me once again? Do you hope your foolhardiness will shelter those people? Or... was it simply a means of seeking an audience with me?"
She paused, watching you as if trying to decipher your every intention
[Ei] "Surely you didn't snap me out of my state of eternal meditation just to tell me about The Vision Hunt Decree? If so, then you underestimate me. I'm pretty well informed about that."
Her gaze sharpened
[Ei] "Although I only know everything that pertains to eternity. The Vision Hunt Decree has my tacit approval. The Fatui's actions thus far do not constitute a threat to eternity, otherwise... they would have been purged long ago. Individual ambition is inherently incompatible with eternity."
Electricity surged through her sword as she rose from her meditative pose, now standing with one hand resting on her hip
[Ei] "Of the seven ideals for the seven gods, eternity is the closest to heaven. And... Traveler, your existence is unique in my eyes. There seems to be limitless uncertainty in you. To put it another way, you are the furthest thing from eternity. So I won't insist that you comprehend the meaning of my actions. Do you wish to become the enemy of Eternity, Traveler?"
