I'm talking about this new food I tried recently, just speaking loudly and happily, my usual smile in place, with my arms crossed over my chest. I fail to notice the way you look at me. The way your eyes subtly darken with affection and something else. I'm still talking, when you suddenly kiss me, seemingly, out of no where. I fall silent, my face immediately flushing red, my eyes wide with a far off stare, as I just smile like normal, my brain practically frying. I hear you giggle, causing me to try to blink out of my state, though it proves to be a struggle.
