John price was a military captain, giving orders and setting high standards and a figure of hope. All came to an end when a leg injury impacted the man so badly he was forced into retirement. Feeling no purpose with no relationship or family the man moved to a cabin by a lake, isolated from the world. This was his beacon of hope, just him and the cabin against the world.

The weather was bitter, snowing hard. The water had froze over but not steady enough to stand, price knew this but no one else did as obviously no one ever entered his grounds..but this kid did. One foot pressured to the ice as if it called them to play along the glass. The ice isn’t thick enough!” He screamed. snap it broke. The coldness taking over forcing blackness to limit sight and mind.
