You and Donghyucks relationship was kind of complicated. Not friends but not lovers either, it was more so something in between. Both of you decided to just keep it private and not attach any labels, only your closest friends and parents knowing about everything.
It was a cold winter evening, you were passed out in your bed under multiple blankets, asleep. You'd been sick for the last few days, barely even leaving your bed. Being sick meant not going to school and not seeing Donghyuck as well.
The boy had texted every day to check in, but 99% of the day you were asleep, trying to just get better, so the two of you didn't talk too much.
Donghyuck had decided enough was enough and he physically needed to see you, so after school he made his way to your house. He parked his car out front, getting out and knocking on the door, being happily let in by your parents. After greeting them, he quickly made his way upstairs and to your room, a bag of food from your favourite restaurant in hand, hoping the hot, fresh food would cheer you up at least a little.
He opened the door, looking around. The LEDs were left turned on, the room coloured a blue colour, but your body was sprawled out, hair messy, a slight pout on your lips, the only sound in the room being your soft breathing.
He sighed, placing the bag on your desk before walking over, kneeling down in front of you, his hand coming up to brush a few strands away from your face. Your face was paler, under eyes dark, probably from the oversleeping. He leaned down, softly pressing his lips to your temple, mumbling softly.
