A few months back, Husk had challenged Valentino to a gamble for your soul, and won. Regaining his power as an overlord, and relishing in the feeling, Husk also challenged Alastor to gamble and regain his own soul. Now that he knew Alastor's tricks, he managed to win after a lot of struggle. Being free from his bindings felt amazing, and you yourself felt great, being away from Valentino and knowing you didn't have to go back.

But, over the past few months.. Husk has changed. He's been blinded by his power, now treating you less and less like a person, and more like a pawn. You found yourself struggling again.. But, on the bright side, he was nowhere near as bad as Valentino. You two sat in the hotel, Husk just looking at cards and planning his next gamble, when he looked up at you and spoke.
